Bulenox rules: pick your risk model carefully
Every Bulenox account makes you choose a risk model at purchase, and it is locked for life. Option 1 is a real-time trailing drawdown with full contract size from day one and no daily limit. Option 2 is an end-of-day drawdown, but adds a daily loss limit and makes you earn contract size. Both run on the same targets and drawdown amounts.

Qualification by size
| 25K | 50K | 100K | 150K | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Price | $145 | $175 | $215 | $325 |
| Target | $1,500 | $3,000 | $6,000 | $9,000 |
| Drawdown | $1,500 | $2,500 | $3,000 | $4,500 |
| Contracts | 3 | 7 | 12 | 15 |
| Option 2 daily limit | $500 | $1,100 | $2,200 | $3,300 |
Resets cost $78. Bulenox's own pages show different Option 2 daily figures in two places ($1,200 instead of $1,100 on the 50K on one page), so check your account's figure.
Option 1 vs Option 2 on the same trade
| Option 1 (real-time) | Option 2 (end of day) | |
|---|---|---|
| Floor at start | $47,500 | $47,500 |
| While open at +$1,200 | $48,700 | $47,500 |
| After close | $48,700 | $47,800 at the session end |
| Contracts allowed | 7 from day one | 2, until profit passes $1,500 |
Option 1 costs you $900 more room on that trade but gives you full size. Option 2 protects your room but scales you in slowly, and adds a daily limit of $1,100 that counts open losses and commissions.
Option 2 scaling on a 50K
| Cash on hand (profit) | Contracts |
|---|---|
| Up to $1,500 | 2 |
| $1,501 to $4,000 | 4 |
| $4,001 and above | 7 |
Scaling works in both directions: a loss that takes you back under $1,501 cuts you back to 2. The Option 2 daily limit runs from 5:00 PM CT to 4:00 PM CT, pauses the session rather than failing you, and is removed once your end-of-day drawdown locks.
Master account and payouts
- Activation: a one-time fee, $148 for the 50K.
- Drawdown lock: on the 50K the floor locks at $50,100 once the account reaches $52,600.
- Consistency: 40% on every payout: your best day divided by the period's total profit.
- Payout rules: 10 trading days per payout, $1,000 minimum, a $2,600 safety reserve on the 50K, and the first 3 payouts capped at $1,500 on the 50K. Processed weekly on Wednesdays.
- Split: 100% of your first $10,000, then 90/10.
News trading is allowed with no blackout around CPI, FOMC or NFP. Bots, algos and copiers are allowed if you built them for personal use; a third-party API connection costs $100 a month extra.
Mistakes that cost Bulenox traders
Real-time trailing punishes giving back open profit. Option 1 suits tight, fast exits.
A losing day can drop your allowed contracts. Orders sized for 4 contracts get rejected or breach when you are back at 2.
All positions must be closed. The session runs 5:00 PM to 4:00 PM CT.
Matching the option to your style
Option 1 suits a trader who exits fast and rarely lets winners swing: full size from day one, and the real-time trail barely matters if open profit is banked quickly. Option 2 suits a trader who holds through pullbacks: the end-of-day drawdown ignores open highs, at the cost of a daily limit and slower size.
On a 50K Option 2, a $200 risk per trade is a 4-point stop on 1 ES contract, which fits inside the 2-contract starting tier. Keep days inside $600, so the $1,100 daily pause never triggers.
Either way, plan for the 10 trading days each Master payout needs, and keep your best day under 40% of the period's profit.
Track Bulenox in the RB journal
There is no Bulenox preset yet, so use Custom and record which Option you chose.

- In Risk Manager, add a prop account, pick Custom, and for a 50K set target 6% and total drawdown 5%, trailing. Add the 2.2% daily only on Option 2.
- Futures platforms do not run the RBSync EA, so import your fills from a CSV export of your platform (the journal reads NinjaTrader and Tradovate exports, and the generic CSV mapper handles others).
- Write "Option 1" or "Option 2" in the account notes so the number never gets mixed up.
- On Option 2, check your profit against the scaling table before you size the next trade.
- On the Master account, track your best day against 40% of period profit before you request.
Questions traders ask about Bulenox
Can I change my Bulenox risk option later?
No. The option you choose at purchase is locked for the life of the account.
Does Bulenox have a daily loss limit?
Only on Option 2. It pauses trading for the session, counts open losses and commissions, and is removed once the end-of-day drawdown locks.
How much of my profit do I keep at Bulenox?
100% of your first $10,000 on the Master account, then 90%.
