Audacity Capital rules: limits that change by phase
Audacity Capital's Ability Challenge is a two-step with a feature most firms do not have: the limits tighten between phases. Phase 1 allows a 7.5% daily loss and a 15% maximum. Phase 2 and the live account drop to 5% and 10%. Targets are 10% then 5%, with 4 minimum days per phase, no time limit and no consistency rule.

The trap is the switch. A trader who passed Phase 1 with seven stops of room carries the same rhythm into Phase 2, where five losses end the day. Re-plan your size the day Phase 2 starts.
The daily limit uses the higher of balance or equity at rollover and then stays fixed for the day. Equity includes open trades, commissions and swaps.
Audacity's FAQ says the rollover is 00:00 GMT+2, while its help centre gives MT5 reference times that shift with UK daylight saving. Check the rollover time in your platform.
Trading rules, and two open questions
- News: allowed. Audacity's guidelines also advise avoiding opening, closing or adding within 3 minutes of high-impact releases such as NFP and FOMC.
- Weekends: allowed at every stage.
- Leverage: FX 1:100, metals 1:50, indices 1:100.
- EAs and copy trading: Audacity's help centre contradicts itself on both. One answer allows your own EAs and copying from your own accounts; the prohibited list bans EAs you did not build and copy trading in general. Check the firm's current rules with support before you use either.
Payouts and scaling
First payout 14 days after your first live trade, then every two weeks. The split is 75% under 10% profit, 85% if you withdraw over 10% within 30 days, and up to 90% after doubling the account twice. The fee is refunded with the first payout if that payout exceeds the fee. Make 2.5% or more a month for 3 months in a row with a withdrawal and the account doubles, up to $2,000,000.
How Audacity traders fail
The daily limit drops by a third. The same size gives two fewer losses of room.
Phase 1's wide floor tempts traders into big swings that become habits they cannot afford later.
GMT+2 and the MT5 daylight saving times disagree. Check the platform clock.
Planning the Phase 2 reset
Treat Phase 2 as a new account. On $100,000, a Phase 1 plan might be 0.75% risk ($750) and a $3,000 daily stop, well inside the $7,500 limit. On the first day of Phase 2, drop to 0.5% ($500) and a $2,000 stop, inside $5,000.
Phase 1's 10% at 0.75% risk and 2R winners is about seven net winners. Phase 2's 5% at 0.5% risk is five. Spread both over at least 4 days to meet the minimum.
Keep the Phase 2 size on the live account too, since the limits stay at 5% and 10%.
Track Audacity in the RB journal
The journal has an Audacity Ability Challenge preset. It shows the Phase 2 limits, so in Phase 1 it warns earlier than Audacity would, never later.

- Add a prop account in Risk Manager and choose Audacity Capital, Ability Challenge.
- Sync MT4 or MT5 live through the RBSync EA (cTrader is supported too), or import a CSV statement.
- If you want the exact Phase 1 numbers, edit daily to 7.5% and total to 15%, then change them back when Phase 2 starts.
- Re-run the position size calculator on the first day of Phase 2.
- Log your first payout against the fee to see when the refund applies.
