Funding Pips rules, and how to pick a reward cycle

RB Trading Last checked: 8 October 2026 4 min read

Funding Pips' 2 Step Standard now asks for 8% then 5% (the 10% first phase was no longer offered from 24 July 2026). The maximum loss is a static 10%. The daily limit is 3% or 5% depending on what you bought, measured from the higher of your opening balance or opening equity, reset at 00:00 platform time (UTC+3). Both limits are hard breaches.

The most important choice comes when you are funded: which reward cycle. It sets your split and whether a consistency rule applies.

The daily limit on a $100,000 account

Worked example: 5% daily configuration

At 00:00 UTC+3 your balance is $100,000 and you hold a trade up $1,500, so equity is $101,500. Funding Pips uses the higher, so the day's line is $96,500 with a $5,000 limit. If that trade reverses to break-even, you are at $100,000 with $3,500 of room.

On the 3% configuration the same morning gives you a line at $98,500, and a 1% trader ($1,000 a trade) has only three stops of room, fewer after any open profit at the reset gives back.

The overall floor is a static $90,000.

Funding Pips' help centre gives the reset as UTC+3 platform time; its Terms mention server time in CEST. Check the reset time in your dashboard.

Reward cycles on the Master account

CycleSplitConditions
Weekly60%From 7 days after your first trade
Bi-Weekly80%Every 14 days
Monthly100%Every 30 days, 7 profitable days of 0.5%+, 35% consistency
On Demand90%Any time, 2% minimum profit, 35% consistency

The 35% consistency score means no single day may be more than 35% of total profit, and it applies only to the Monthly and On Demand cycles. The minimum request is 1% of account size.

Master account rules that bite

Common Funding Pips mistakes

Risking more than 1% per idea when funded

The striking system counts losses per trade idea. A 1.5% loss on one idea is a strike even if the day ends green.

Picking Monthly without checking consistency

100% sounds best, but one big day can hold your payout until the 35% score is met.

Buying the 3% add-on for speed

It removes the minimum days but cuts daily room by 40%.

Planning the Master account

Plan for the striking system now. On $100,000, a 1% loss on one idea is $1,000. If you risk 0.5% per trade and never add to a loser, a single idea can only lose $500, so you cannot strike. Traders who scale in or widen stops are the ones who collect strikes.

In the evaluation, with a 5% daily, set a personal daily stop at $2,000. With the 3% option, make it $1,200. At 0.5% risk and 2R winners, Phase 1's 8% needs eight net winners.

Choose your reward cycle on how your profit arrives. If you have one or two big days a month, Bi-Weekly at 80% avoids the 35% consistency score that Monthly and On Demand carry.

Questions traders ask about Funding Pips

Is the Funding Pips Phase 1 target 8% or 10%?

8%. The 10% Phase 1 option was no longer offered from 24 July 2026.

How is the Funding Pips daily loss calculated?

From the higher of your opening balance or opening equity at 00:00 platform time (UTC+3). Floating and closed losses both count, and touching it is a hard breach.

Which Funding Pips reward cycle has a consistency rule?

Only Monthly and On Demand, which require a 35% consistency score. Weekly and Bi-Weekly do not.
