UK100, FTSE100, FTSE
the FTSE 100 by any broker name.

UK100, FTSE100, FTSE, UK_100 and UK100GBP are all the FTSE 100, the London benchmark index. Nearly every broker uses UK100. Suffixes like .cash or Cash mark the cash CFD; -F, FT and .F mark futures-priced versions.

Every spelling, grouped

Measured on broker pages, TradingView broker feeds and live MetaTrader servers. MetaTrader matches symbol names exactly, including case, so UK100 and UK100m are two different symbols on the platform even though they are the same market.

What the underlying market is

Every name above tracks the FTSE 100, the index of the largest companies listed in London, priced in pounds.

Cash or futures?

A cash UK100 CFD tracks the cash FTSE 100 while London is open. Because the cash index only prints in exchange hours, the CFD follows the future outside them. Futures-priced versions such as Pepperstone's UK100-F quote the futures level throughout, which differs from the cash index.

How the RB Trading Pro Journal handles it

The RB Trading Pro Journal reads UK100, FTSE100, FTSE, UK100.cash, UK100x and the rest as the FTSE 100 and prices it live at the cash FTSE 100 level.

Trades arrive by hand, by file import, or live from MT4 and MT5 and cTrader, in whatever spelling your broker uses. You never rename a symbol to get a live price or a correct R.

Journal your UK100 trades under any name

Log trades by hand, import a file, or live-sync MetaTrader and cTrader. The Journal recognises your broker's spelling and prices open trades live.

How this page was built: spellings come from brokers' and prop firms' own help pages and notices, from the broker feeds on TradingView, and from a public dataset of 13,740 symbol names read from 241 live MetaTrader 4 and 5 servers (metatraderVPS/metatrader-broker-symbols, CC BY 4.0). A broker is named only where one of those sources shows it. Brokers rename symbols from time to time, so check your own platform's symbol list if a name here does not match.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is UK100 the same as FTSE100?

Yes. UK100, FTSE100, FTSE, UK_100 and UK100GBP all track the FTSE 100. Most brokers use UK100; AvaTrade and FundingPips use FTSE100 and IG uses FTSE.

Is UK100 cash or futures?

The plain UK100 is usually a cash CFD on the FTSE 100. Futures-priced versions are marked, such as Pepperstone UK100-F, Vantage UK100FT or BlackBull UK100.F.

What does UK100x mean?

It is how one HFM MetaTrader server lists the FTSE 100: the x is a server or account tag, and HFM does not publish its meaning. The market is the same FTSE 100.

What is IBGB100?

IBGB100 is Interactive Brokers' FTSE 100 index CFD. IBKR names its index CFDs IB plus a region code and the index size, such as IBUS500 and IBDE40.
