Every spelling, grouped
Measured on broker pages, TradingView broker feeds and live MetaTrader servers. MetaTrader matches symbol names exactly, including case, so US30 and US30m are two different symbols on the platform even though they are the same market.

What the underlying market is
Every name above tracks the Dow Jones Industrial Average, a price-weighted index of 30 large US companies. The exchange-traded future on it is CME Group's E-mini Dow, root YM.
Cash or futures?
A cash US30 CFD trades for far longer than the US stock market is open. The cash Dow only prints during exchange hours, so outside them the CFD moves with the YM future. That is why your US30 keeps moving in the evening while the index itself is shut. A futures CFD such as US30-F quotes the futures level all the time, which sits at a different price from the cash index.
The trap to watch for
DOW on its own is also a share. Dow Inc. trades under the ticker DOW, so a bare "DOW" can mean the company, not the index. IG's TradingView feed uses DOW for the index; most brokers avoid the clash with US30 or DJ30.
How the RB Trading Pro Journal handles it
The RB Trading Pro Journal reads all of these, including US30m, .US30Cash, DJ30+ and VANTAGE:DJ30, as the Dow. A cash CFD is priced live at the cash Dow level, and outside US exchange hours that level keeps moving with the YM future, just as your broker's CFD does. A futures CFD such as US30.f reads the futures price directly. A bare DOW is only read as the index when the trade is marked as an index, so Dow Inc. shares stay shares.
Trades arrive by hand, by file import, or live from MT4 and MT5 and cTrader, in whatever spelling your broker uses. You never rename a symbol to get a live price or a correct R.

How this page was built: spellings come from brokers' and prop firms' own help pages and notices, from the broker feeds on TradingView, and from a public dataset of 13,740 symbol names read from 241 live MetaTrader 4 and 5 servers (metatraderVPS/metatrader-broker-symbols, CC BY 4.0). A broker is named only where one of those sources shows it. Brokers rename symbols from time to time, so check your own platform's symbol list if a name here does not match.
