Every spelling, grouped
Measured on broker pages, TradingView broker feeds and live MetaTrader servers. MetaTrader matches symbol names exactly, including case, so UKOIL and UKOILm are two different symbols on the platform even though they are the same market.

What the underlying market is
Brent is the global crude benchmark, traded as the ICE Brent future. WTI, the US benchmark, is a separate market with its own price.
Cash or futures?
Brent CFDs are futures-priced at essentially every broker, whatever the name. Pepperstone states that its rolling SpotBrent is priced from the front-month futures contract. "Spot" or "cash" in the name means the CFD rolls automatically and has no expiry.
The trap to watch for
UKOIL is not USOIL. UKOIL is Brent; USOIL is WTI. They trade at different prices, so check which one your broker means before you compare a fill to a chart.
How the RB Trading Pro Journal handles it
The RB Trading Pro Journal reads UKOIL, BRENT, XBRUSD, UKOUSD, SpotBrent, BCOUSD and the rest as Brent crude, and prices it live from the front-month Brent future, the same source broker Brent CFDs are built on. WTI names are read as WTI.
Trades arrive by hand, by file import, or live from MT4 and MT5 and cTrader, in whatever spelling your broker uses. You never rename a symbol to get a live price or a correct R.
Journal your UKOIL trades under any name
Log trades by hand, import a file, or live-sync MetaTrader and cTrader. The Journal recognises your broker's spelling and prices open trades live.

How this page was built: spellings come from brokers' and prop firms' own help pages and notices, from the broker feeds on TradingView, and from a public dataset of 13,740 symbol names read from 241 live MetaTrader 4 and 5 servers (metatraderVPS/metatrader-broker-symbols, CC BY 4.0). A broker is named only where one of those sources shows it. Brokers rename symbols from time to time, so check your own platform's symbol list if a name here does not match.
